Had some time to finish roughing out the second bow.  Last night I made a string, decided to try an endless loop for a change.  Figured it'd be quicker (not the reason I made it), but actually too me longer.  I guess when you're used to one way, changing your thinking takes some time.

Anyhow, tomorrow the rain will have stopped.  Time to shoot them in a little, make final tiller adjustments and try to get some finish on them.

I just started on my trade bow, and I don't even have any specs.

Another diabolical plan......   :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Had a 3D shot at our club today. Muddy as all heck. Shot and passed around the two new bows. The yew bow seems perfect as is. The cherry/bl one needs the lower limb softened up a little I think.

Here are the first four arrows from the yew bow at the 35ft target with no nocking point on the string. It might have come in a bit light, but I think I'll keep it.

Those are sweet bows, Dave.

This afternoon I cleaned out my garage to begin getting ready for the trade... I' m not getting a late start this year!  But it looks like Kenny has gotten the jump on just about everyone!

    :knothead:

Hey! Just saw your shots, Dave! Good shootin'!
