Yeah, keep at it Roy, it certainly is worth it.  I gave up smokes 30 years ago, still have a few silver bullets though.

Good for you, Roy!   Keep to it, old man!  Never smoked myself, but my parents did.  ( notice the past tense)
Smoking is a horrible habit. Hope you kick it!

this morn watched my girls play 3 soccer matches.

Picked up some more laminate flooring and made some .004 taper sleds.

Just got done with a few stain tests for the next bow.

...now I'm sitting at work...

Today was a soccer day for me too.  My son's team lost, but my daughter's team won.

Hope they both had fun.

My girls are 5 and 7.
Both their teams lost today. My 7yr old had 2 games.
She takes losses pretty hard..VERY competitive girl..lol..more so than the coach..lol

5yr old doesn't keep track..she's just having fun.

Started beekeeping last year.  This was my first swarm.  I was lucky to catch it.

Take a kid hunting!

Got our water line broken by vandals again.  The cops are getting involved, but between you and me, I'm not only an archer but I happen to be pretty mean when it comes to my yard.  The martial arts training doesn't hurt either.

Today was a good day here. The sun finally came out, and I spent the day out in the garage where I built a taxidermy pedestal and got a bow prepared and glued up.

Disked and planted 2 food plots to beans, then my skidloader came home and I pulled some locust trees and piled em.

Took a ride with some good buds to the blessing of the bikes in Baldwin. Good day!

I used a trick that I poached off from the build along that was on here recently from stalker--
worked slick as can be!!

5 minutes on the bandsaw!

this hybrid grip is really new to me -only the second bow I have squeezed on this form
and drilling the first cut was a great work[time] saver!
