Forward Riser
« on: January 08, 2014, 12:38:00 AM »
I would like to build a forward riser longbow. Rather than experiencing a bunch of trial and error efforts....I thought I would ask if anyone has a template for a short 54" or 56" forward riser longbow.

Any advice?

I am interesting in an 60-64" too. I build several different  style longbows with success now, but never one with a forward riser. I am thinking to redesign my normal form with the handle or using supertiller... but i am happier to work more with wood than with the computer ;-)

Supertiller is a macro enabled excel spreadsheet that models the stresses and bending in a bow limb.

It's pretty awesome.
