Nice lookin Bow Roy! I'm done with the all night varmint hunts for the year so hopefully this weekend I'll have something that looks like a bow... It'll have some heat on it so prolly mid week next week before I can shoot it if everything goes as planned.

So Roy, how much would it take for you to send me that bow, and I'll build an extra to send to your guy? Lol. I like that one... a lot!
But then again, I've liked everything I've seen so far. If I start that practice, looks like I'll have to make about 40 or so bows! Not that I would mind that, but I'd have to quit my day job and it would probly still take me years to finish them all. Lol.
Great looking stuff everyone!

Cool idea.

Dang it Roy !!  Thought I told you to use a darker stain. Oh well, I guess you can sand it up a bit and re-stain it for me.    :knothead:

Gooberson, if it's any consolation, the bow should be flying right past your house. That's about as close as you will get to seeing it..  :)

Dang Craig that's no good I sure hope your little girl gets feeling better.

Great looking bow Roy as usual.

I'm still fighting my homemade lam grinder trying to get it as close to perfect as I can.  It sure is easier to just buy them from a professional.

D,
That was my experience with my home grinder setup, it took a lot of time to get them close to right.  I got lucky and found a thickness sander on Craigslist in Billings (140 miles) for a price that made it worth the drive.  My thoughts are that without an auto feed it is very hard to get them to the correct, thickness/taper
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
