Well, I'm not ready to ship yet but the swap bow is very near completion.

Tillered to 30" for safety, at the lower end of my victim's draw weight range, but I think it'll make it. Taken about 1-1.5" of set so far, currently has a touch of string follow. I believe it will end up around 1" of string follow, should be very nice on the release.

Got the handle shaped, and the whole bow sanded and stained. Need to shoot it in some and get some finish on it but it's coming together quickly.

Maybe another couple weeks so I can properly shoot it in .... AKA have Canopyboy shoot it in.

My swap bow is done aside from a couple small touch ups that I want to do to the finish. I do not have a sprayer for my finish so I use a wipe on method. I have always been good with that in the past but for some reason really want the cleanest finish I can get for this swap - feeling the pressure of another bow pro examining the bow. It came out just a hair on the light side by a couple pounds but is shooting so nice I am going to leave it as is.

Nice looking bows and lams guys. I have 3 bows ready for glue up but I haven't got much done these last 2 weeks. My Dad had an operation to remove an aneurism last week in a hospital an hour away and this morning I took my Mom to the emergency for a bad attack of back pain. After 8 hours there, my boss said to stay home, seeing how bad the weather is getting here.
I guess I shouldn't be complaining though. My Dad is ok and he'll be on his way home this afternoon and my Mom will feel better soon I hope.
Maybe I'll get some work done this afternoon after all.

How's the storm been in the Northeast? We're getting dumped on pretty good here in Southern Ontario. This weather is the last thing the wildlife needed right now. After the tough winter, they need a break or we'll have a lot of die off.

I may be rethinking my trade bow for the second time. I'm not liking the results of the one I'm working on so far.

It's been raining hard and windy all day here in SW Pa. Now it's down to 39 degrees, calling for snow in a few hours. Was 65 yesterday, what the hell happened?

The storm is almost past. Still snowing and 8 inches on the ground. People thought it was spring, but it's not!    :readit:
It's supposed to be well above freezing by Friday.
