If you're worried about the veneers breaking with the glue on em, lay the glue to the glass, then the veneer, then flip the glass over on the veneer. The glass won't break !!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I think what Roy meant to say is that he was sending it to Santa and he will drop it off at ***** house on his way to see the Easter bunny.

I will be heading out to CO tomorrow to see some family then to CA to see more A lot of driving over the next week.

I will be on some but my not get anything up dated until I get home.

I did not realize just how bad horn smells when using the belt sander...might have to wait till the weather clears just a bit to finish these nocks...
Today we had sleet, snow, 50mph winds and now its raining..what a crazy day.

Just got some glass from Kenny, probably the last order I'll ever get to have with the guy    :(

Think I finally figured out how to get some pictures taken too.  I've got to grind one more set of tapers for this trade bow and I'm ready to glue up.  I'll get some pics up of the lams today sometime.  Finally able to kick the kids outside so I can get some daddy time in the shop so should finally be able to get some work done!     :knothead:

Don't worry *********, I'm gonna start busting tail now to get your bow done.  It is gonna look really nice when she's done!  I'm kinda jealous already, so that's a good thing, right?

Kevin, I know what you mean!  The first time I used horn I stunk up the garage so bad the wife complained for two days!

As promised, here's some pics of the bow for *&#^#*$(*

Riser block

Close-up of the accent.  She's also got a walnut I-beam

And here's the lams.  Walnut on back, hickory on belly.  I've still got to grind the taper on the wedges, but that's it before glue-up.

She should look really nice under glass.  Anyway, that's it for now.  I'm on 12 hour night shift all weekend, so won't get to do anything till Monday.  I actually need to get some sleep now before I go in tonight    :(

Oh, I also got this in the mail today

I'm torn now.  I told myself that if I got my bow before I finished my recipient's, I wasn't going to open it till ********'s was done.  But now I have it it's soooo tempting!   :knothead:   What do I do?!

Got my hickory board in today, will probably hit it with the hand planer tonight or tomorrow. It's kinda cheating, but it makes a reliable surface for me to work from, which is important.
