Excited that my phenolic came in and my accent glass. Gonna get it glued up this weekend and take this blank to bow shape. Super pumped and excited all at the same time.... I hate shaping risers because it can go from awesome to crap in a heartbeat!

Happy for ya, D!

Now if I can get away from my wife and her "do this and this" crap maybe I can get something completed on my trade. It's to profile but haven't thinned the limbs yet.

Glass and more smooth-on showed up from MO last night. Just waiting for my lams to be ground and sent back to me now. I figure *********'s bow will be be done a couple months after that at my current pace. Hope he's gettin' ready...

Oh, and congrats D. I was hoping he couldn't tell which way was west and one of the boxes on my front porch last night was that purdy stick.

Man oh man.  Some good looking bows out there as usual.  I'm at the farm/ranch in Nebraska and won't be home till Monday.

Maybe I'll get a slip

I got home this afternoon and went out to shoot and didn't even bother with the target I just grabbed some Judos and went to the woods behind my house.  It sure is a great shooter.  I was extremely impressed with how well it shot.  No handshock at all.  Very smooth and didn't stack at all.  That ol codger knows what he's doing.  Ya know Roy you said "its just a bow" but I disagree its not "just a bow".  Its more than a bow.  Every bow that gets received in this swap isn't "just a bow".  They are all awesome creations that someone put a lot of time, effort, thought and consideration into for someone they have never met.  Heck I don't think I have met anyone that I talk with on here.  There's only a handful of tradgangers that I have met before.  This in my third year in the swap and all three bows I have got (one from bob last year and one from Walt Francis the year before that) mean a great deal to me.  Thanks to all three of you guys.  Ok that's enough mushy stuff..lol on to some pics.

He put one more gift in the tube with the bow too but it didn't last long..lolol

I consider myself so far ahead after last year with soy's absolutely awesome 'snake' bow that any bow that comes my way this year will be a bonus.

Nice pictures, D.. Hey I forgot to tell you and maybe you figured it out already, but those tie on string nocks are adjustable. They can be screwed up or down the string for tuning. Once ya have them where they need to be, sort of twist each one together to tighten it up a little.

Beautiful lines.
Love the top pic in the woods.
