Well, I've been working for the last few days.  Had a little time yesterday and less today, but I managed to get the limbs tillered and mostly timed - I'll probably have to tweak them a bit before finishing.  I got the riser roughed out, and that's about it.  Hopefully between swim lessons and tiling my dad's bathroom, I'll get more done this weekend    :banghead:

Here's my little bit of progress:

I don't remember if I posted these or not.  This is the back and belly of the limbs.

Holy crap that ADD stuff is funny.  I understand completely what your talking about.

Cabbage that looks stinking awesome.  I love the limbs.

I got mine in the form a little while ago.  Its cooking at the moment.  Gonna go check it in a little while before I go to bed.  I sure hope it comes out ok.

I'm about to throw in the towel with this damn POS laminated bow for the trade and go with the good 'ol selfbow.

been trying to get the riser back to match up to the lams WITHOUT glue lines and it just aint happening. currently it is somewhere out in the blackberry bushes. i have a bit of a temper.  ;)

D that oven looks like a casket for Herman Munster!  That thing is bigger than my whole shop. I have to build take downs because space is so limited down by the beach..at least at my house!  I should give you guys a tour of how I have to do the tool shuffle to build these things.  So jealous of all of you guys with huge shops.

Well I am a little disappointed right now. Plan A did not fair well and came in quite a bit under weight. Then I had that tip alignment issue to contend with which seems farther gone then I have ever had. Fear not !@%#^$&$&&& I have placed a new order to start another as soon as the materials get here. I have never had this happen last swap and I was able to get two bows out last year for this swap.

Bear with me please I promise to get cracking on plan be as soon as the supplies hit my doorstep.

I can give you a little insight to the material order:

Brown glass back and belly
natural color action boo

Riser:
Zebra and Wenge
white and tan Phenolic accent

I am going to make a radius in the riser and make it a two tone bow. Should look classic and beautiful if my plan comes together. I am sorry for this setback !@#$%@$%&.

I will get cracking on it very quickly!!!!

Thanks for all the nice words everybody, but that's the thing about cell phone pics..they can be deceiving.  The oven isn't that big.  Yeah I mean it gets in the way but I think its around 18 inches tall and that's with the wheels on it and around 7 feet long. I built my step son a tree house out of the camo OSB and I had some left to make my oven out of.  Have used it for a few years now.  Anyway I got ********'s bow out this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with it.  No air bubbles under the glass and fairly small glue line.  I'm happy so far but I haven't got a string on it yet either.  Here's some pics.

Here's one of the limbs.  Both the back and belly are like this one.

Its doesn't have much D/R
