Congrats Soy.  It is a beauty! I have shot several of Kenny's bows and you won't be disappointed in that either.

Been away on a road trip with my 12 year old daughter, awesome time. Got back in the saddle and have started cutting in nock's so I can string up my bow and get to tillering. Want to be careful as it has a hickory backing and humidity has spiked to 100% in these parts. Don't want to start bending while the hickories mc is up.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

Soy I think "Bird Dog" is a great name for it.  Congrats that you got such a damn good looking bow.  I have no doubt it coming from Kenny that it shoots better than it looks (if that's possible)  Well Done Kenny.

Crap I forgot to ask a question.  This is only my second one piece glass bow that I've made and I am about three pounds heavy.  So for you glass that know more than me (which is all of you).  Will it drop three pounds shooting it in or do I just need to go ahead and shed the few pounds off and be done with it?? I imagine that I'll just need to go ahead and shed it off but just want to make sure. Appreciate the help.

if it were me, i would shoot it a while and see what happens- they will take a little bit of set after shooting in- very very small though- so that may be enough/or not.
at least then you will know for sure- and can easily shed a few pounds after that- but the recipient might not be worried by a few #'s
just my 2 cents from a non participant this year!!

Thanks for the Help.  Whether your participating this year or not I still value those 2 cents.  I actually just went back and look in my PM box and looked at the message Kelly sent me and I had the top limit of ********'s draw weight wrong.  I was higher than I thought it was so I'm right in the window where I need to be...thank goodness.  Thank ya for the education.

I'm all done and ready to ship to ************!  I'm gonna check with Kelly just to make sure I'm okay to go, but I'm pretty sure I am.  Here's some finished pics:

Congrats on the awesome bows, guys!    :clapper:

Still working on mine slowly but surely. Not quite ready for the tiller tree yet but close.

Breaking three bows last year has made me a little gun shy...
