All in all, some serious eye candy to look at while on vacation. Thanks.

Just letting everyone know I'm having to go into the hospital with my bow half finished. I'm having difficulties with hernias, shortness of breath and unimaginable pain. I'm still endeavoring to get it done in time.

Finally my material showed up in the mail today. Everything I need to get hammering on plan B. When I looked at the invoice is when I truly missed Kenny M. His material was half the cost of this stuff and a tad better quality. I am not complaining about the material that came. It looks great but I do miss working with Kenny on material orders.
Crossing my fingers this one will work out this time or I'm screwed!!!!
I will post pictures of the progress tomorrow.

Yes, I'll be fine. Turns out I have complications from the medications that I take, and that's why I had bloated so heavily-have meds to help that out so I can get some relief. I'll have to take it easy for a bit though.

Awesome bows....those glass guys are building some sweet ones. I did a rawhide glue up on one Friday night and unwrapped it Tuesday and everything looked great from what I can tell. The wind has been blistering here all week blasting dust and sand so haven't shot the Hackberry yet hope to shoot both this weekend. Ed if'n you building one for me don't worry about a thing....health first.

Olin, that rawhide looks real nice! I need to get back into the selfbow thing. I miss chasing rings sometimes
Anyway, I think I'm gonna show off this bow another day or two (and shoot it a bit more) then ship it off on Friday or Saturday. Plus I'm working night the next couple so won't have any time to ship it out anyway. Good excuse, huh?
