That's a real friend. Someone who will break your bow and not complain that it hurt like heck! LOL

Glad you are OK!  That can take the fun out of both building and shooting in one quick second.  Hopefully it is salvageable.

Fortunately I believe it is salvageable. And yes, that does really put a damper on things. Just glad there were no serious injuries involved.

The wide, middle stave is what I bought at the Tenn. Classic for my 3rd attempt at my trade bow. I know I can make a bow from osage!     :bigsmyl:

i have done some progress... here they are:

here it after glass added... but actually it lost some transparency.

it was like this before... was beautiful veneer...

side view

work left:
other limp needs a glass
cut in half and make it take down
ship it.

best.

Looks like you are getting into boomerang building with that one stave Pat. That wide one sure does look good, what design are you going to do.

re: buemaker
i am using fiberglass and epoxy. but i think my epoxy is out of date. so this is the reason of loosing transperancy.
i took the fiber glass off now sanding the remainder and re apply the glass. i bought new epoxy.

hopefully this time it is gonna be full transperant.

best.

And last the beautiful tip work.
