latest info about swap...

on the 3rd image there is little slider on the handle but it was hidden under the limb.

this is new invention for a take down process... shall be known as big ink method   :D   lol

hope you like it... i am planning to leave top part of handle as it is... bark overlayed.

best.

ps. little less to go... shape handle, cleaning, finishing, shipping...

I'm off the long string with my trade bow. Did first brace at "0" but will shorten my tillering string for a better reading. Not too long now but I need a bit more time at it which is hard to come by these. I'll keep y'all posted.

Andy, as always your bows are a work of art, looks great!

Very interesting design you have there Ink.  Is there a bolt through the limb into the riser that holds it all together?

yes... true...

there is a bolt and nuts couple there to hold them all together...

for the bolt i am planning to make special handle with polyester and feather so there will be good looking top of bolt.

btw: this is my last try for this year's swap. if this is not as good as i expected, i will be shipping off one of my recent made (not able to use them yet) bow.

this one...

which one do you think could be good for my receipent?

Good news from me as well- my latest limbs seem to hit the aimed drawweight after finnish exactly within range`s middle. The only thing left to worry about is a little flex on the pads and "strange" hinges belly and backsides in full draw... but not as bad as many other recurves often look then^^

My glass did not make it in yesterday, as I hoped. I will spend today getting the new handle pieces ready so I can get it glued up tonight. Maybe the glass will be in today so I can glue up the new bow up tonight. I did get my new thickness planer, though.  :bigsmyl:
