.......got an update on my trade bow. it's been sitting in the tube waiting to be mailed for a couple months. shop was broke into this morning while i was out with my kids at the park. came home to find the door wide open and a prybar laying on the ground. the crackheads nabbed a couple tool boxes, little welder, trade bow(in the tube) and 3 other laminated bows i had hanging up. cops just left a short while ago. i think the phrase they used the most while here was "sir, please calm down, we'll handle it." if i hear one more person say that to me, i'm declaring war!

i have a very strong suspicion of the lowlife that broke in was, told the cops and they are checking into it. hope to get at least the trade bow recovered, and a chance to skin the B@$t@&ds!
they even stole my sons osage stave he just started working on, and his bicycle. i seriously need to hit the woods to blow off steam.

if i do not recover the trade bow ( I BETTER!) then i will be sending out my back-up trade bow. great shooter that was built at the same time just in case something went wrong. within recipients specs and nice looking zebrawood.

ok rant over.

I really hope your in the small percent of people that actually recover their stuff!  I hate a liar, thief, or a crack head. And where you find one your sure to find the others! Wishing you the best Moose!

That really stinks Moose. Hope you get some resolution. I just hope it wasn't my procrastination that contributed to your woe's.

On that I have gotten the handle wrap on and the string twisted up. Just have to put the specs on it, get it bundled and in the mail. Will go out tomorrow of Tuesday.

Ok I got back from MOJAM with did not finish my bow liked I hoped it needs some heat and I will do that tomorrow. Did end up with some great hickory staves. I will get a bow laid out on one of them and will start working while I wait on the osage bow to cool and rehydrate a bit.

I will get caught up on here and find out where everyone is at.

Got mine all boxed up and ready to go. Will get it to the post office tomorrow. Not what I had originally planned, but a very good bow is going out tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who are still making their bows. Don't rush and make a good bow.

Just shoot me a PM Razor when she goes out.

No one needs to contact the person they are building for. If you are posting on here and showing progress or contacting me in PMs all is ok. I for one know how life is and so do most. I just need you to work on your bows.

I got the string silencers on and the rest and strike plate over the weekend, but I couldn't find the plug for one end of my sewer pipe for mailing. Had to run to the HD, today, and pick up a cap. I also got some pipe insulation to wrap the limbs in for added protection. It will hit the mail tomorrow.

Wow, went on vacation and there was a lot of progress to read through. Some nice stuff there!

Bummer about the stolen bow. Cool that it might lead to a new trad shooter/bowyer out of the officers who came by.

Can't wait to get home and shoot a bit. I have some heavy arrows that should be waiting for me to use in my swap bow.
