Nothing was clicking at work today, so I opted to take an afternoon of comp time. As soon as I left my wife called and said that as she was on her way out the door, the UPS man dropped off my package. "Good thing I was home, honey, because I had to sign for it." I had ordered some DIY supplies and thought for sure that was what she was referring to, as they were scheduled to arrive today (and did). Little did I know that it was my bow and I have the whole afternoon to shoot it!

I got this beautiful bow from MoeM (Moritz) from across the pond in Germany. It is PERFECT, sir! I have not shot in nearly three months, but this baby made it feel like riding a bike. The draw weight, phyisical weight, riser profile, etc. are all a great fit.  Thanks a million, Moritz! Another kudos to fine German engineering!

Cool thing Curt... I was really excited of it`s travel allover the pond and through customs etc...

I love when you love it and wish you much fun! If you`ll ever make game with- no matter smaller or bigger- I`d be very happy about a shot of that for my "hall of fame" (hard to fill as bowhunting isn`t even allowed here...) Maybe a gobbler for Thanksgiving?!

Last  "some" info about the technical issue- FF ready (equipped with dacron so far) and finished with tru oil for easyiest repair/refinish, thats all- don`t want to endanger longbows` simplicity   ;)

Will do, MoeM!  Gonna take it with me this very evening to the range and do some long distance shooting with it.  Recently I built a matched dozen set of wooden arrows that turned out too light for my other bows.  However, they shoot like a dream out of this bow.  Glad I kept ahold of them now!  Thanks for the additional info, too, and once again for a great bow.

Well she is finally ready after many attempts. All she needs is a couple coats of tru oil.

Stacked leather handle and 63" long.  Knots were quite a problem but I really like them.  Had a few issues tillering. Not perfect but shoots hard and true.

Nice bow Moe lol! Anticipation is killing me to find out which one of these bows is heading to NH. I wanna show it off at my next Bowhunter Education course at the end of August. You should see how many people come up to me and ask me about traditional bows at these gatherings.

It was and I'm admiring her right now!
Thank you Kenny! I couldn't be more pleased.
I'll get some pictures up soon, but for now:
She's 62" long, 60# @ 28" and built From one of my favorite woods - black walnut, with white glass and zebrano overlays.
Ok, time to go play. Pictures later.
