I wish my second effort was as nice. That's top notch, Walt.

got a bow from BrianO!  Nice little Osage selfbow, 59@29, lots of little knots and character.  only had a few minutes to shoot it with underspined arrows, but seems quiet and pretty quick.  will have to get some pictures up later. He also sent a very nice bow sock (which i desperately needed).  Thanks Brian!

I'll get it Kelly, just super busy this weekend, and its an ordeal to get pictures, gotta perch the phone on the grill and set the timer and all.  Haven't even really had time to shoot at all for the last month or two, getting the fever now though, deer season is only 35 days away, gotta get ready.

My bow should go out on Tuesday but I'll post after it does go. I was gonna write the pertinent info on the bow the other day and the bottle of India ink I have(had) was solid.    :banghead:   I'm going tomorrow for more ink and get 'er done.

I love this home stretch part of the swap where everyone seems to be coming home to bows or has their's almost ready to send. Before you know it, we'll all be talking about next year's swap!

Kelly, you still need to get the outer limbs bending and be careful of the hinge 6" off the left fade.
One more little hold up on my trade bow. None of the shipping tubes are long enough. I'll pick one up tomorrow and may still get the bow in the mail then too.

Looking forward to getting my trade bow... unfortunately I won't be shooting it any time soon. Need to get my neck operated on in the next couple of weeks so I will be out of action.

Well, I found out today that nobody carries thin walled PVC. I was told it is not available any more.       I have thick walled PVC and a cardboard carpet tube so my bow will be going out in one of those tomorrow.

The mailman delivered a tan tube and what was inside was beyond my imagination...I was STOKED!!!! The man outdid himself in artistry and the performance of the bow shot with authority. I had to wait for about a day to shoot because of the rain...Walt Francis you'er the MAN!
