Kelly, can you show us a current braced and unbraced picture. I know it has some character to it and that might give us a better feel for how the tiller is looking.

Ok Rasorback

unbraced

Braced

I have it to just about 3.5# to heavy so I think I will shoot it a bit tomorrow and twist up a new string. then check the tiller, get a rat snake skin on it antler tips. then some finish and get it in the mail.

Ok, I just had to look up what an argo was. I'm happy to wait for Thursday with that as an excuse. Hell, now I want one!

Congrats on your new bow...

Thanks Kelly;that's what I thought, the bump in the unbraced photo makes it look like the right limb is bending more than the left, but I think it is probably even. Looking really good.

Ooooweeeehh- Kelly get me of that list, sent and finally received a bow- a really nice masterpiece built by Shawn with awesome spalted maple veneers... relly love her man.

Hey Shawn thank you dude, excellent work. Don`t know if there wasn`t a string or the suckers at customs stole it but fortunatly I had a suitable one from my failed swap bow so I can already say it has a really buttery draw and an awesome profile- can`t wait to shoot her!

Ed.: do you have a recomendation regarding spine and pointweight for my 29,5" draw (wooden arrows, heavier setup) and a recomended brace range?

Well like that 2 down 3 still in the mail and 9 still waiting so there is a 33% chance your bow is in the mail.

But if you are waiting on this one she is getting dressed now.

Bowhintineverythingnh03743 (finger cramped typing that ID) does that answer your question?

That was one big rat snake and lost about 8" of the tail on that one. Bow is 68" and I trimmed off 2" to make it even.

I have the antler tips clamped up and letting the super glue cure. So I can shape the tip and trim the skins. I need to twist up a new string and serve it. Then a bit of shooting and polishing.  Oh and a bit of pin manship then off she will go.
