that crazy guy is offering one of his blades for some skins.
all i can say, is that i have a rose quartz knife from kevin, and it truly is a work of art- well worth a sack full of skins. iffin we had snakes here i would be getting a second blade right now!!!
you gotta have halibut or ling cod skins kevin, what about those?
i know its not snake- but i have used both before, and they are great!!
there now you can send me another knife 'jus for the idea    :D      :D      :D

somebody who has snake skins  is gonna score big time!

wellll... i lost the first one. my young son saw it and just loved it- he would go into my shop everytime someone came over( didnt matter if they had seen it 10 times before!!!) and show them the knife- and tell them it was made from "stone", and how he was going to use it when he went hunting, then prompty demonstrate some ninja/kung fu slow motion moves, with a pair of frantic and  nervous parents in the background- making sure he didnt drop it and break it, or buck off his or someone elses limbs  :D    :D
so  he just loves it, and it is his most prized possession- literally!!- so i said that it was his- but it had to live in my shop- and i had to supervise all visitations!!

if you ever need a salesman- hes the fella for you!!!

I've been in the Big Horn mountains for the last 3 weeks. This has been some interesting reading as I catch up. It seems like ages ago that I received my beauty from D.  Some great learning as well as comraderie goes on here. I guess people have to decide if the good outweighs the bad.

On another note the winds on I-90 are treacherous right now.

Kevin I have one for now but I bet I can find another one. I have odd skins right now. I have one beg skin like that rat snake, and juvenile rat snake and 1 copper head. I should be finding some more on the roads it is that time of year.

Wish I could have salvaged the to big bull snakes.

Wow! lots to catch up on! I also just got back from a hunt this morning. Moose hunting in north west Ontario. We made good time coming home - only 20 hours driving this time.    :D
Reading all that has happened in the last 10 days, I came to realize that this group really rocks! Someone reading these posts might be inclined to think we all knew each other personally.
I will almost certainly be in next year's swap.
Kevin, the snakes in our area are either tiny or protected or I would be all over your offer. You wouldn't by chance like wood carvings would you?    ;)

Kevin I would take what ever you don't want. I will send all three of the the ones I got now. And If I get another bull or black rat I will send it along. This is the time of the year I see them in the evening dead on the road. Spring is the morning now is evenings.

The copperhead and juvenile black rat would cover a short bow and be very interesting I think.

Now for business what updates do we have. I think I may need a bow I have not heard from juan for a bit. The last time I did he said he was ready to ship but he did not get back to me saying he did.

Kevin, I just saw your request for skins, and I wish I had some!  I do have a box of flint, chert, and obsidian that I'll never get to if you want.  I've had it for a couple years now and have only managed to make a few chips.  I'd send it to you if you wanted.  Maybe in exchange for a couple small obsidian points?  Heck I'd probably just send it anyway.  Let me know.
