Also I have not heard from red hill in a month if any of you are friends with him let him know I need an update by Monday or I will have to boot him. If I do that I will need help getting another back up bow done. I will get the details out if it is a glass or wood bow out only if I boot him from future swaps.

Since I have started an archery class where I teach, I have 3 teachers all wanting a long bow..not sure how I am going to pull that one off...
But, 3 classic target bows should be less of a project than a one of kind hunting bow...hopefully.
If we can get congress to lenthen the day to 30hrs and shorten the work week...ha ....which = more time in the shop...
Not sure my wife would go for that...   :biglaugh:

Hey everyone,

This not exactly about the bow swap, but it does directly effect a bunch of kids being introduced to archery...

I am the new P.E. Teacher at Iditarod elementary..and I am trying to get archery added to the curriculum...but I also need to purchase some new p.e. equipment...I have a link to a website that is helping with the funding, they take donations and then purchase the materials for the students/classroom..
If I get this project funded, the school has agreed to fund the archery curriculum..Check out NASP for the archery in schools program.

If anyone would like to know more or help out, please pm me and I will fill you in on the details.

The bow has been been at the post office since they attempted delivery on Thursday, I hope all is well with the recipient.

Well, they dropped off the delivery notice, but no one mocked on the door. Was home all day with kids and wife's yappy mutt that barks at every noise. Found the notice Friday morning, went to post office stated, it wasn't there yet. ??? Said it would be there from the central post office after 1pm. Went back, puter says it there but they can't find it. Called central post and never got a call back. Waiting till they open tomorrow to find it, pay the customs duties(dirty rotten lowlife.....), and bring it home. Been a long few days.

Well I just couldn't wait any longer to start Roy's new bow. It still needs a little more weight shaved off. It's a tri-lam of course, balsa, pine and plexi glass. Didn't want to offend the old guy. Sure hope he likes her!
