Ok folks I've finished my swap bow.  It's been another great fun year.  I put together some pieces I had and I am pleased with the way it came out.  I was nervous but "I Guess It's OK".

60 inch bow with 15 inch riser.  Riser is walnut with myrtle and glass accents.  The limbs consists of koa and spalted maple spliced veneers.  A-boo cores with koa wedges.  Walnut limb pad bolsters for back and belly.  The tips are buffalo horn. The string not pictured is a SBD string from Pierre.

Thanks and y'all have a blessed day.

oh sweet  Dmaxshawn ....

i hope this is coming over the oceans ...  :)

mine is also finished. little more touches needed for make up. you know the ladies huh....

btw:
i was long away from here and internet since the doctors found some gray area in my daughters MRI brain scans. first they thought it might be tumor then they made more and more tesing... now it seems like it is nothing more than a birth mark... well we will keep going on MRI scans in bimonthly. we'll see what is coming up 2 months later... but i am telling you it was a hellest month in my life...
wish my daughter luck and pray for her... she is just turned from 7.

best.

Dang that is one good looking bow. Got my swap all ready for glue up but having it only reach 19 degrees up here in New Hampshire as the high for the next couple days does not make me want to go out and heat the garage for 8 hours. I will wait till next week when we are hovering around 40 degrees to glue it all up. So far I am very happy with the dry run and hope that the glue lines come out perfect!
