the bow called "patience"
« on: January 18, 2014, 03:46:00 PM »
i will tell you a story friend...

2012 i have joined to bow swap and some problems occurred.

firstly, i was not able to build one properly.
second, i did manage to build one but this time national post office did not accept it to ship it due to it's length.
since i did not know how to make it take down, i gave my apology to my recipent and withdrawn from the swap. since shipping it with private company was hell expansive.
then, people from gang help me a about shipping the bow and paid nearly half of the shipping cost.
finally bow was on new owner.

but, my builder already shipped the bow to someone else since i did withdrawn. so there was no bow waiting foe me to be shipped.

and Kelly joined to game one more time and told me not to worry about my swap bow he promised me that i will receive it even he has to make it one for me. year ended. next swap ended. i have received 2013 swap but there was no 2012 bow yet. i was just waiting patiently. waited waited... patience was my good ally.

then yesterday, there was a tube on my door. when i opened the box, i have seen piece of beauty, the bow named "patience".

now friend tell me, what else can this bow be named other than "patience".

thank you kelly and tradgand. i feel like i am with friends and with good people.

i loved the bow. i always wondered about osage orange bow now i have one.

pictures? hehehe... now your turn to be patience... wait for monday...

Glad she made it there. Only one correction to that story. The person did not ever ship a bow that I know of to any one. So I did tell ink I would build one but I found out another ganger was working on a 2 piece take down that need a home. I explained the situation I had and how ink  had not received yet for 2012. On Monday you will see the result.

Sorry it took so long Ink but I think from the little I shoot it it is worth the wait.

That makes us a 100% in all swaps now.

here she is:

i told you she is beautiful...

there was one more string silencer at the other end but somehow it was took off so i removed it.

and one question: do you think brace height is little low? should i make some arrangements on the string?

Ink shoot some arrow through it and if you need to twist the string do so. That will raise the brace.

Man Dan she looks better then I remember.
