dymond/actionwood bow
« on: February 22, 2014, 03:40:00 PM »
Made this bow for a friend who wanted an actionwood bow. I ordered some burgandy camo actionwood but it looked like it would be a little over stimulating for me. I ended up sing some burgandy dymondwood and ebony I had on hand and made .060 stripes out of the burgandy camo. Also made a power lam and tip wedges from the burgandy camo mostly because I thought it would add a nice touch of color in the grey actionwood lams.
The bow is 60" long 48#@28". Great shooting bow!
I tried to take some pics that would show the colors in the burgandy camo. Hopefully you can see them. Thanks for taking a look. I'll put up a few more pics later. Mike

Sweet!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
