Well my first laminated limb is in the oven.  

And the doubts start

did the lambs shift?

Is the air hose holding?

Is the wedge in right?

Is the stack up side down?

Its going to be a long day!

Yeah it is nerve wracking but, opening the box is like Xmas morning every time!

Its worth the nerves: first one came out just fine.  The belly side glass shifted a little but I've already got the limb cut down to shape and the shift didn't hurt a thing.  Second limb comes out in 30 minutes.  I'll shape it tomorrow and get them on the riser block.  

One thing is certain: I'm having a blast making this bow.  Can't wait to see how it shoots.  Plan on using it for this spring turkey season.

I'll post pics when its finished: don't expect much though.  I kept my first one pretty simple brown glass with actionwood riser.

If this one turns out I'll work on the one pictured in my head.

well it is completed, how do you post pics?

Go to photobucket.com and register. Then upload the pictures. Then after they are uploaded, go to the library there. You will see your pictures. Place your mouse cursor on a picture you want to post, when you do that in the upper right hand corner a little gear icon will appear. Place your mouse cursor on that gear icon and a drop down menu appears. Click on get links. When you click on get links another menu drops down, click the very bottom line that says IMG codes, when you click that, the word copied should appear for a few seconds. Leave photo bucket open and come back to trad gang and in the box where you type your posts here, right click and click paste. That will put the url of the picture in the text box. Below where you type your text is a box that says preview, clicking that will show you how your post will look. If it's ok, close that box and just hit add reply.

Well I've finally got to fling the first arrows

target was #40 @ 28" (came in at #41 @ 28)

My draw 30" and pulls #45 (with no stack 60" n2n bow)

Graveyard quiet

Dead in the hand after the shot

very pointable / accurate for my shooting style

430 grain arrow chrono at 162 (not the fastest but I don't care)

7.5 brace height with 1/8 inch positive tiller

Thanks for all the positive posts.

One problem, I'm already coming up with ideas for the next one.

Although I really enjoy shooting the bow, I really liked the whole build process.  Watching the bow come together piece by piece was great.
