Trio of longbows
« on: March 23, 2014, 10:16:00 PM »
Been busy since deer season ended.  Built three d/r longbows.  Here are a few pics.  Pics are not that great.  They were taken with my tablet.

Bocote bow is 58" NTN and 40# at 28"
Desert Camo is 59" NTN and 48# at 28"
Jatoba is 60" NTN and 48" at 28"

Now I've got to go to work on my trade bow.

And of course the old gray haired man at full draw with the desert camo.

Dave,

Those are some fine looking bows.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Dang those are nice David.  That bacote is nice but I really like the handle overlay on the middle one.  All three look great though.

Beautiful bows David, all three look great.  I'd hate to have to pick a favorite.
