Man I love the way that one looks!!  Rawhide turned out great.

Is the buckthorne a local wood to you?  That is a new one to me.

That looks awesome.  I've never heard of buckthorne that I know of.  Great looking bow.

I got this buckthorn from a buddy in Chicago but I know it grows out here, also related to cascara
fine ringed and works easy, the sapwood seems soft but is great in tension, pretty wood too
