Holey Moley
« on: April 17, 2014, 03:59:00 PM »
been working on this one for a while... had it roughed out at Christmas time i remember that much.  stave looked clean on the outside, but i had to chase a deep ring to get a good early/late wood ratio.  the belly of the handle is just about the center of the log.  anyway when i got down to my target ring all i could say was... well... holey moley.  she threw me for some loops.  she's 47# at 28" and 65" ntn. perceptable handshock, but not bad at all.  shoots pretty damn sweet for firewood

Now THATS a bow with a lot of character, looks like you had as much to work around as work with. Cool shelf, nice job.

Holey crap Eric, you have come a long way in a real short time, I'm very impressed with that piece of firewood. I love the picture with the sun shining through the three holes, awesome stuff.
