Kenny RD longbow
« on: May 11, 2014, 11:30:00 PM »
I've been wanting to build a rd longbow using kennys blueprints for a few months and now that I've finally got the money his website seems to be disabled.

Does anyone know where I can get them at or have any advice?

Thanks

kenny closed up shop for a spell. he is selling off a bunch of his stock on the sponsor classifieds. might could pm him and see if he has a copy of the form/blueprints you could get. he's a great guy to work with and vastly knowledgeable.

I'd second the idea of sending him a PM. I am sure that he will help you if he has a what you are looking for. What length bow are you wanting to build?

I shot him an email. Maybe ill send him a PM too. I wanna build a 64" one and I would really like to not buy one off those all in one kits from bingham when I can probably furnish most of the material for the caul from stuff that I already have. What diameter fire hose is used for the form?

I spoke to Kenny a while back and talked to him about making the information about his bows (i.e. forms etc.) publically available.

He was very generous and sent me copies of both templates and I have been meaning to get the information posted here, just been very busy with work.

Anyway, I originally had planned to provide x,y coordinate data so that they could be replicated, but I've since been considering scanning the forms and uploading PDF or image files which could then be printed out at your location.

Let me know if one of these approaches is better and I will try to get started on that once I have a chance.

If it would be possible to scan full size images that would be the best! Thats awesome he was so generous about sharing them.
