Kenny M Longbow Plans
« on: May 12, 2014, 04:29:00 PM »
Ok everyone, here it is.

to quote Kenny "This is my contribution to their addiction"

Below you will find links to full size PDF files for the plans.

   58/60" RD Longbow

   62/64" RD Longbow

Someone please test the links and make sure they are available publically.

All you need to do is basically e-mail the file to your local printing shop of choice and they should be able to print it out for about $10/plan

Ben, I keep getting this notice: "file is unavailable please reload"
I can see the images, but the notice comes up and I can't do anything with it.

You're welcome guys, glad the bows are still going to be built, hope you get much pleasure from building and  shooting them as I did in the R&D on em!

This PDF thing is all Ben's tho! I can make a passable bow, but computers leave me in the dust! LOL

I built a 64" TD  3 pc off the same shape, 16" riser, .003 total taper with tip wedge and power lam, just draw the 1 pc out full length and make the limbs on the TD match it...  :D

It has taken one cow elk, think he told me it blew right thru her. I guess I never chronoed it, but seemed a little quicker than the one pc.

Probably just new bow syndrome tho!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Hmmm.  I was able to download the files but can only get a 1 page (8.5" X 11") size.  It must be a simple fix.  Anyone have some clues as to how I get it to full size.

Are you guys having trouble downloading the file using phones or ipads? If you are using a desktop or laptop with windows and a browser like Firefox or Google Chrome, just click on the link. When you get to the page, click file, scroll down to the download button and click it. Depending on how you have your browser set to work with viewing pdfs, you may get the option to open the file from there using your default pdf program. (I use pdf exchange editor as my viewer rather than adobe) Then you can save it wherever you want to store it. Both links appear to provide a full sized pattern. You can pm me if you need more help.

Copy the pdf file to a thumb drive or burn it to a cd. They should be able to print it from that. They might even have a way for you to email them the file. I would call them and ask them.

These things are beautiful just printed out! Kenny your my friggin hero! And, BTW if you do start up again someday, you can count on my business.

For those having trouble: Use Chrome, when you click the link you will see a preview. There will be a file menu on the upper left of the page. Click -> file -> download. Should get you going.

Best
