I've been using wipe on poly with fair success for a while. But I have learned that it doesn't really cure on coco bolo unless you wait for 6 months.
I'm thinking of sealing with superglue on the coco, then finishing with spray lacquer. I had good success with this method on a glass bow I refinished.
Here is my question, has anyone sealed an entire wood bow with superglue, obviously very thin layer just for some moisture resistance. I'm concerned that if I only use lacquer on the limbs they won't be very water resistant. So that made me think maybe I just should seal the whole thing with superglue.
I guess I could try poly over superglue, but my understanding is that poly doesn't like to stick to anything.
Any thoughts?
