Had several ask how to do this, so here is a bit on it. Hope it helps if you are makin em!
I start with a 36" blank 1/4" wider than desired lams.
Now put on the angle cut jig (edge grain up)and run thru saw to cut the angle cut on flat grain side.
[On this jig, just move the back of the top pc of plywood over to left to cut 3/8" more on end to you before screwing to bottom pc.]
Tilt the blade to about 1.75* works for me.
Actual saw tilt is more like 1.5 to 1.75 degrees rather than 2* in pic, you'll just play with that to get look you want.
When you get the angle you want, flip the angle cut side down and square up both edge grain edges(square one and turn end for end with flat grain still down). You should have plenty to get desired width with the extra 1/4" on original blank.
Now I cut the opposite flat grain side by simply setting saw fence to clean up from the thin end.
Wear eye protection for sure cause this operation throws lots of chunks.
Now you have a square blank with angle cut on both sides.
NOTE- when you bandsaw veneers, use the same face to cut from, but start from the other end on every cut. If your saw is off a fraction from square, it will get worse with each cut but if you turn endo each time it will correct any variance to make the angle stay the same...
