Great job! I think if you insert a tapered wedge in the core, you could make it much thinner.  I would think that even an .080 thick wedge, tapered down to nothing inserted in the limb core would make the tips static.

That is a very interesting result. Should be a snappy shooter.

This is my 3rd glass bow so i do need some advice.
from the nock to the bridge is 4"
will the glass on the outside make that much difference?

Thanks

Thanks pearl

The sharp hook you have in the limb itself makes it almost static, therefore I think you could get by with a just a thin wedge in the stack to fully stiffen it.  Having the wedge on the inside of the core will be structurally much stronger.

How does it shoot?

A new place to pick up some speed would be a larger string bridge and possibly tunçs on your string.  I know that swapping an integral loop string for one with tied in loops improved my horn bow's cast and manners.

I'd love to try that bow.  I shoot a horn composite currently and I've wanted to find a bow that would handle moisture while hunting without giving up thumb style and its benefits.  You might just have something there.

That explains a little about it.  My composite only really works right with them.

Just to let you guys know, this bow is here with me, and I'm working on an arrow heavy enough to tame this thing.  However, this thing is blistering fast, and only getting faster as I work up to a 36" arrow.

Gentlemen, I mean this in all seriousness: line up for the next ones he's building.  This thing is wild, and I mean that in a good way.  While I'm still working on such like proper arrow selection, this thing easily outclassed my horn composite.  If you like a heavy arrow, this should be your only choice.
