58" R/D
« on: July 27, 2014, 12:14:00 PM »
A few weeks ago I put together the form for this bow. I got the plans awhile back fron Kenny (thanks Bud)- it still needs a little sanding and some finish. It came out 45@28" - it has a tiger wood riser, the thumb rest is from a piece of the riser mosaic cut off.

Another beauty, Trux. Similar to mine but shorter.
I shot my "TRUX" bow last weekend with some carbon arrows someone gave me. She screamed those carbons.

Sweet looking bow David

Very nice David!! How'd you do the line around the stipple job?
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Good looking bow Dave!! I have a soft spot for the shorter bows.  What brace height does it like?

That's beautiful!  So it doesn't stack at all at 28"?

Kenny- I did the outline with a checkering tool- I still need more practice before I checker one vs stippling- lol
Jess I have it braced at 6.75"s right now but I haven't played with it much- it does shoot nice though.

Sam- no stacking up to 28"s, just a smooth 2lb gain. It starts to stack after 29".
