I think T.J.'s bow is the prettiest bow I've ever seen.

Love em. I have 2 Silver Fox T/D's and have had 2 Featherhorns in the past. All were works of art. Here are the 2 I have now. Both are 62", one being 56# @ 28" and the other is 58# @ 28".

Now, I just need to talk Abe into a forward handle 58" longbow. Abe, you listening? LOL

Great choice Frank! That one looks amazing. Those woods really go together. Make sure to post pics and a report when you get it.

NativeCraft, thanks for the compliment. Sometimes I think could just stare at it forever. But then the itch to shoot it is just to great    :biglaugh:

Just received a new Perigrine about a month or so ago. Great shooting bow. I had to drop down in bow weight to 51# and this bow shoots an arrow as fast and hard hitting as my 55# & 58# bows. Great looking bow also! Read the review on the Perigrine
on Abe's website or Pete's website. I was so impressed with his review of this bow I had to order one. I'm really glad I did.

Silver Fox owner here also. By far one of the best performing LB's I've owned and I've owned some damn good well known bowyers LB's. I wouldn't trade or sell it for anything.

Here's a photo of the featherhorn I recently acquired. It has a beavertail grip and shelf so this seemed like a fitting location for some snapshots. The finish and workmanship of the bow is beautiful.

How would you describe the grip on the Silver Fox?  Is it a low grip or med grip?  I love the looks of these bows, but haven't had the chance to shoot one.

Abe,

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,

But, why didnt you call me to test drive it for ya?

Have you decided what shows you may attend this year, and do you think you might have one available to play with at these shows? I always enjoy "chewing the fat" with you when our paths cross. It usually means another bow for me, though.

I trust all is well with you and Tina.

Take care,
BP

JC,

Naw, for it to be truely painful, I should have included the pics of the limb veneers and antler work on the tips and riser.

Brian...I got DIBS! If you ever decide to get rid of that one, please contact me before it hits the market. That is one of the prettiest bows I've ever seen...and I've seen a bunch.

Sweet looking bow you got there, Brian.  You might be interested in knowing that Abe has very generously donated a bow for the PBS Banquet.  Thanks, Abe!  We sincerely appreciate your awesome donation!

Yea, I saw that Abe had donated a bow. I am not suprised by his donation. He has always seemed, to me, to be "one of the good guys" of archery.

I will be watching that auction very closely in Pittsburgh.
