Delaminated limbs
« on: August 16, 2014, 08:50:00 PM »
I saw somewhere on this site a fix for delaminated limbs using serving string and poly to glue it all back to working order.  I cannot find the info again.  Am I correct in that I saw it on this site?  Any help is appreciated.  :help:

If it's a fiberglass laminated bow, I'd say it is toast.  Unless you have the original form for the limb shape, it will never be the same.  And if you had the original form, you might as well just build another.

X2 what Sweka said.

And if one limb is still good you could make a form or at least a very close copy of the original form, and just build another.

Tell us more about the bow, and preferably a picture and you'll get more specific advice.

Thank You for the reply's.  As soon as I get the bow from a friend, I will check it out and post a pic.
