man there are some wood bow masters on here- so many beautiful tri lams coming out of this forum- not to mention all the awesome selfbows etc.
this site is amazing- i think i have been on here for about 6 years now- and have watched and followed( many times with great envy!!) the incredibly steep learning curve that occurs as a whole- its almost as if this forum is a single organism , and the left leg cannot advance without the rest of the body following- as the skilled crafters on this forum keep on just punching that bar higher and higher- the rest of us just cant help  but  follow suite.
i know without a doubt, this forum and its members have single handedly been responsible for my personal bow making skills improving over the years- no where near some of the skills out there- but i can build a bow that shoots, and they put meat on the table!
what more can a man ask for- thanks to all.

sorry Roy i got side tracked- but this is aimed at many on the site- you amoungst them!!
 You're Ok i guess    :D

As always Roy, one fine looking bow. After a dozen or so 'glass bows I'm thinking may be time to give a 'boo backed bow another try.  Heck, I don't even want a riser shelf. Just wood and a string. I'm coming around. See what you do to us?

I was starting to wonder if this thing blew up on ya or something.

Looks good, but I gotta see a final full draw pic to make up my mind.

Nice job, Roy. I thought you gave up bowmaking and took up installing floor covering as your new hobby!!

Finally....Here's Roy's full draw pic.

I think it looks pretty good, but he might have a bit of a hinge in that lower limb.  What do ya'll think?

Yeah, that's definitely not ok.
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.
