No surprises here! You always do wonderful work.
Someday maybe......!!
Both of the blanks I did some work on at your place are still bow blanks...
I've lost a lot over the years..motivation, ability, and confidence.
Thanks for sharing Dave!
God bless,Mudd

The bow looks great! Would you mind giving a short how-to on the handle wrap? I've been wanting to try this style of grip.

Bmn. The handle wrap is fairly simple. Just cut a strip of thick high quality leather the width that you want. I make mine abiut 1 inch give or take a bit. Then i use a belt sander to sand the edges. Sand the outer 1/4 in or so down so that on the edge it is paper thin or thinner. Wrap the grip and mark long tapers for your ends. Sand them down to. Your strip now is a long parallelogram so to speak. I use contact cement on both the leather and wood and pull that sucker TIGHT as you wrap it. That and the sanded or skivved edge make the wrap look best. Tuck the very ends and your done.

Osage, osage, osage, I gotta get me some osage. That bow is magnificent. The copperhead skins really make her stand out. Fine, fine job there my friend. Keep 'em coming.
