My advisor from when I was in graduate school at WVU recently told me his son had a renewed interest in archery and he asked me if I would build him a bow. Of course I said yes.
And I figured while I was at it, I'd build myself one too since I didn't get a shot with the the bow I was using this past season. I figured if it doesn't have any luck in it, it's time for a new bow
I put the final touches on my advisor's son's bow tonight. It has black glass, bubinga riser and overlays, and I hit my mark of 40# at 28". I hope it will make a good Christmas for him.
The finish was still a little tacky on the bow I built for myself, so I'll get pics of that one up in a day or two. It's the same design as this one, but different woods and glass.
