Well done........!

Here's your proof Roy. The dang finish is still a little tacky, so I got it hanging in a warmer/dryer place - my living room by the Christmas tree.  Details and better pics to come.

Nice!  Wouldn't mind seeing one just like that under my tree.   :)
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

OK, I got the handle wrap on it tonight and got some pics.

The details....It has a morado riser, actionboo limb cores, dark brown glass on the back and light brown on the belly.  It came out at 49# @ 28", which is about 5# less then I wanted.  I had 0.050 glass on hand (courtesy of Kenny), but I usually use 0.040 glass in these mild r/d bows.  So I wasn't sure how much my total stack should be and took a guess.  I thought going from 0.040 glass to 0.050 glass would add more weight than it did.  Oh well, I'm getting older anyway and I'll know what to use for a total stack on the next one.  I'll give it a real workout this weekend.

Really like that bow you made yourself too.  Those handle overlays look great against the brown glass.

Thanks guys.  I'm kind of surprised to see this thread brought back up.  It's been a while.  That bow did draw some blood last year, but I made a bad shot and didn't recover the buck.  My first non-recovery with a trad bow.  I was pretty bummed and dang near gave up on hunting with trad bows.  Since then, I've gone back to my straight ASLs and will be using my reverse handle ASL this year.

Djoseph - I wish I could help, but I've never built one of these with 0.030 glass, so I don't have any recommendations on stack thickness.  Also, if your form isn't exactly like mine, any stack thickness I give you is a guess.  My advice would be to build one and then once you see what weight it ends up, you can have a much better idea how to adjust for the next one.  Sorry.
