Pen and Medalians?
« on: December 31, 2014, 01:02:00 PM »
I'M BACK!! Ok Trad Gang Bowyers, I'm making progress on that first TD bow I'm making. 2 Questions, 1- what type of marking pen does one use on the limbs to mark the draw length and bow weight? and where do I get one? and 2 is there a resource for those Medalians that I see on the side of the risers, like those I see on the Bear Bows? that Bear emblem? Any input on these two items would be great!

India ink is best we have it and pens on our Thunderbird website.  Empire Pewter out of NY makes our emblems they are not cheap..

3 Rivers Archery sells that Bear medallion.
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.
