need a lil help
« on: January 01, 2015, 01:37:00 PM »
Hello friends. I'm new to this forum and to the art of bow making. I've shot traditional archery for most of my life and have built several longbows. But....I'm struggling with building my 9 yr old daughter a bow. I have access to hickory boards as well as red oak. I'm not sure what dimensions I should use for a 55 to 60 in bow. I'm shooting for 25 lbs at 20 in or somewhere in that neighborhood. I would appreciate any advice y'all could give me and look forward to gettin to know y'all!!! Thanks in advance!!!
