Who still needs a bow from the 2014 swap? That is not acceptable.

Man that's weak.

I would like to know who was supposed to send Al a bow and who has just dropped out just the other day.

Maybe instead of joining the swap next year I will just sit back and wak to see who gets screwed and doesnt receive and send them a bow. Lol.

That's ridiculous Al I'm sorry you did not get a bow. I was only in the swap two times and both I sent out two bows a year to make up for other people's irresponsibility.

Pearly you are a good man. That's why I like you, most of the time. It's that stubborn German part of you that Pisses me off sometimes. But hell, I German  too.. LOL

I have too many bows and one that will probably fit the bill. No good man like Al deserves to get screwed by an overzealous under-talented "bowyer", and there are a lot of them around the internet.

I may be the least talented Bowyer here, but I deliver.  My season is on hold until a swap bow arrives unless the bow offered in my Powwow thread materializes first.

One to one swaps, not that anyone wants my bows.  I always struggle to make weight.

Here is my take halfseminole, good on you for delivering by the way. If a guy has to post a bow every inch of tiller to see if its okay? Your not ready to enter a swap. If a guy posts a bow with 4 hinges in each limb and asks how it looks to more experienced eyes? Your not ready for the swap. Stay out and save some people the anxiety and stress associated with it. I don't enter car building contests because I cant build cars.

I already have two that were too light on the weight and have contacted Kelly, I'm awaiting his answer on specs to make sure hes not a lefty.   I have a 44 and 46 pound right hand bows that can go out today. both right hand just need to know the specs

I did some research. Al's specs last year was
 50#, +/-5, preferably -, @ 30".
I personally don't have a bow that meets those specs or the issue at hand would be resolved. Hopefully one of the other previous fine gentleman can fill the bill.

Feel guilty as heck even mentioning it.  No one here should have to pick up the slack for others.  Trying to be nice but sometimes I wish the slackers would be acknowledged just so the world knows.  Shame on me.

Who ran it last year and how does a bow not ship 18 months later without their knowing? This stuff gets my already hot blood just boiling. We have guys that lose family members, suffer traumatic health issues of their own, lose jobs and move twice yet still build and ship a bow on time. I don't want to hear anybody's excuses anymore.

I got ahold of Al and he said the lower weight one would do so this is what I had laying around collecting dust on the rack.  Bocote and Phenolic riser with boo cores and spliced myrtle burl veneers.  the bow is 62 inches and requires a 58 inch string.  I do not have a string so if someone would be kind enough to donate a string to Al I will get this one boxed up and sent to Al.

AL you need not feel guilty at all. You got screwed over and apparently forgotten about. There are good men on here that want to see things done right. Shawn I will make the string. So you are saying the finished string needs to be 58 inches long? I'll build it out of fast flight, I'm thinking 10 strands would suffice.  Or should I go 12 strands? AL which would you prefer, 10 or 12 strands?

Good on you Shawn! That's a good looking stick! Good on you to Roy! Oh Roy, I guess if you call an old boat paddle with the paddle knocked off and a string on it a bow, then yes, I build bows!
