Razorback's bow has arrived at my house! Thank god it made it safely, no thanks to USPS. Tube was broken halfway down, my heart sank when i saw that, but the bow is fine. Also sent me a nice Selway? Strap-on quiver which is awesome. Always wanted one.

I'll post more later, got to run.

I scaled the bow at 60# @25-26" which is just what I was looking for!

Thanks Tony!

Hey Ben glad you like it. I think it is the best bow i have done so far. Glad I could get the weight where you wanted it, I tend to chase the gizmo too much and come in lite. I forgot to mention earlier that it is rawhide backed, from a deer i shot a couple of years ago.

oh and then they were 2. The last two are no fault of the current bowyers just so folks are tracking one had  his done but due to an accident someone had to drop out so they got sifted at the 11th hour the other just stepped up because one bowyer has not contacted me since July and I should have replaced them sooner. Well we should be done before the next sign up roster goes out

Tony the bow came out very nice and I'm excited to starts shooting it. i thought that was rawhide but I've never seen rawhide on a bow so wasn't sure.

Is that Argentina Osage? The grain looks to be very fine and is very good looking stuff.

Glad you like it Ben. Not sure on the osage, I got the slats from Roy a couple of years ago. Hope you get lots of shooting out of it. Maybe we can get together for a shoot sometime.

Well now it seems there are really only 2. Rmorris and Half Seminole.

Gents both of your bowyers now are working on your bows and both got late starts. One is stepping in and picking up another's slack the other was done with his and your bowyer had an accident that prevented him for finishing

Here's a few pics of Kelly's bow before I shipped it out in July.  Since Kelly was in the process of moving it went to his house in Kansas.  Starting to wonder if his wife used it for fire wood  ;)   It's osage take down with Thai Reticulated Python skins on it and some Siamese rosewood overlays.

Guar the sweet thing about these bows you can shoot them off your knuckles with either hand.

It want go back to GA this trip but I am coming back to KS for Christmas and will be driving so I will bring back bows and staves and such.

Kelly I did shoot it off the knuckle right handed and it shot well for me but not quite the same as shooting it from the cut shelf.  I think I did try it left handed too but boy that feels weird for me.

Back home this weekend. My recipient's bow (and it's sister bow for my dad's birthday) got the last coat of finish tonight. Still need to serve the string and put the handle wrap on, and we're good to go. My goal is to mail on Tuesday.

Bow came out well enough. Shoots great. I'm never as happy with my finish as I'd like to be though. Hope he likes it.
