I can't believe all the progress so far! You all are doing incredible work! I'm really regretting sitting this one out. I just had too much on my plate this year, and really want to tweak some new designs. Keep up the great work everyone!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Piking it did work, I'm hoping that I get it finished in the next few days.  I'm on bed rest for at least tomorrow, after that is up to my wife since I'm showing warning signs of exhaustion and my heart doesn't function well enough to go there.  I will be fine, I just have to rest some.  I ignored doctor's orders and split wood for this cold snap.  I know to listen next time.

Bwahaha its warmed up to a sunny 7 degrees with a -7 wind-chill here in Hellinois. Can't wait to get to Orlando in a couple of days and thaw out.

Had to bring a few staves inside to acclimate a bit, waiting on other supplies.

This winter has been terrible. Visited my wife's sister and her husband this past weekend ...
Monday morning it was -20 with a windchill of -35. It was to the point of dangerously cold.
Gotta warm your car up for 45min if you need to drive lol.
We spent most of the day discussing how long you could stay outside before freezing to death.

We have a category 5 [maximum class] cyclone with wind up to 180mph bearing down on us . Torrential rain in the meantime. Great living in sunny Queensland.

It hit land few hundred mile above us and is weakening now its on land but is still causing havoc at the center. winds are down to 100 mph now but still sneaking this way.Could probably swim right down our national highway.Hope this glass issue gets sorted soon ,can't do any more to the trade bow, and badly needing more [good] glass to make orders.Such is life!

Thanks Roy and Bue. For a storm with such ferocity all have escaped with relatively minor damage. Few houses destroyed, quite a few with damage, but a lot of flooding. We have had at least 20''-  25'' of rain in last two days, so I'm glad I'm on the side of a hill. All good!
