Al,

That is a nice looking bow!

I haven't made a glass bow in over a year because of the substandard glass.  The last order I received from Bingham's all ten pieces had numerous steaks.  One of the ten pieces could have been used, because the steaks would have been hidden by the overlays.  The rest were not usable.  Bingham response was that is all we have you will have to live with it or send it back.  They never should have been sent our to begin with.  They will not get any of my business in the future.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I was distracted and pulled a newby move. Glued up another trilam last night, shut off the oven at midnight. Pulled it out and started the clean-up and prep for grip glue up. My son, who is almost 9, says "dad, I think you goofed". I didn't see what he ment until he pointed out that what was meant to be boo/walnut/yew, in fact is boo/yew/walnut. Bloody hell! Guess I'll see what happens. Got more supplies to do it right yet. Adventures I guess.

Well I have managed to shed some weight on the take down... It's still a shade heavy still hoping it can hit weight to keep the shipping a bit easier. Have a one piece hill style that I need to shape the riser and have overlays glueing right now. Shouldn't be much longer till I can get one of those sent out.

Riser is Bocote with G10 offset I-beam so it's hidden in sight window.  Bocote and G10 accents in riser.  Bamboo cores with black glass on back with dark myrtle cores on belly.   Tips G10 and bocote.  58 inch R/D poundage and draw well your guess is as good as mine.   Roughed in grip.  Might cut her in half and make a two piece.  Waiting to see if my victim answers.

I've got a few options now. I've been making forms for some different designs and so I've just been knocking out 'plain prototypes'! I've got the thicknesses worked out now on them all now so i'll be getting the wood combos figured for a stunner in the next couple of days.

Thanks all. It's going to take a little while longer if I decide to chop her.  Heck I don't even know when the deadline is.
