And then there were 2!

This is my first 2 piece. It's a wired feeling cutting a perfectly good bow in half. I hope &$@"!?(  likes a takedown!!

I don't have a take down, but I wouldn't mind having one.    :)
Well, after building two overweight bows, having another explode as I strung it for the first time, and a week of stomach flu ( hell of a great way to lose some weight ), I am finally making some headway on a bow. Two in fact. I'll see if both turn out and send the best one out to my victim.

So, I finally got started on @$%&&^%'s bow.

I was fortunate enough to be selected to receive the Osage billet's that Troy was giving away!

This is my first year doing the swap.  This is also my first attempt at splicing billet's, so here goes!

I have this awesome piece of Kingwood that is just begging to be an eye catching handle.  I also have a piece of this to become a powerlam.

Yes I got the bow and Its a beautifully crafted 62 incher and a buttery smooth 50 pounds.  Sorry I havent been on here I'm a full time fireman and my second job is I own a landscape business and the third job is building bows.  Time is short for me and its hard to come by.  With three kids both of which the older two rodeo and the four year old my wife and I dont even have time for us.

I will get some pics up soon.

Thanks
