Bow is done, minus handle wrap.  I will probably ship out on wednesday (day off).  I think I'll post pics then as well.  My guy is a vet so I'm pretty sure I'm good to ship, although I haven't heard from Kelly yet either.

Ian,  Kiwi Craig gave me credit for his bow.  I posted otherwise but don,t know that he saw it.  You might PM him to let him know.

I'm new.  Running a little behind the deadline of tomorrow.  I just got home from 14 days of travel.  Been doing a lot of that with my new role. I'm working hard on it now to finish it up.

Kelly might be in the midst of moving.  He was going to be moving.  I have his name and he pulled it out of the hat so I can't post pics till he gets it.  I'll let you know when I have shipped.

All boxed up and waiting on confirmation of my recipients address. FYI, don't delete your victims info!!!!   :banghead:

I put a topcoat of poly on my swap bow today. It should be in the mail later this week if I'm happy with the finish.

Dave (canopyboy) was over at my house this evening and brought along some new bows he built, one of which was his swap bow.  Somebody is going to be very happy    ;)

I'll be shooting in the bow some more in the morning, put the finish on and let it cure a couple days before shipping. Planning to ship on Thursday or Friday.

My Swap Bow is completed, packed and shipped..  The victim... err.. recipient will have a package at his door within a few days.

I'm new, does Kelly want tracking info sent to him, for follow up?

I decided to make another bow after I saw the price to ship that 1 piece recurve I made.....and a friend of mine desperately wanted it so all in all I thought it would be better to make a takedown r/d.
Anyway it's been in the oven overnight, I have all day to work on it so I should get the takedown system done, let it cure overnight then finish the bow tomorrow.
Sorry i'm going to be late shipping but the date has just crept up on me as i've been very busy the past few weeks.

Some of you guys amaze me! Everyone amazes me every year with the beautiful bows that they create, but some of you that can bust a bow out in a couple weeks or less...  :notworthy:
With my schedule and available shop time, I'd be lucky to complete a bow in less than two or three months!  Yeah, I'm still a rookie, and I have a (bad ?) habit of changing things as I go along, but even if I were to build the exact same bow again as my last one, I don't think I could complete it in less than a month. Anyways, keep up the great work everyone! I'll be back in the swap next year for sure.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
