I thought I am the most patient of patient people, but this bowswop thing disprove tHAT.EVERY bow that I see is perfect for me and precisely what I,would, like to get. The guys bow`s is all brilliant and I pass by my pharmacy parcel reception twice a day to see if `the eagle has landed yet` And every day the anticipation grows a notch higher! This bow swop idea is a brilliant idea and motivator, Thank you everyone! Ive ordered a bow from Ron La Clair 7months ago and have not heard anything yet expt that the bow will be started to be build, soon, so for the moment the swop bow have me on a real high,

Guar ingnore my PM. I dont have internet where I am at so I have to come in the office and work on this. This is not a good year for me to run a swap let me tell you. but it runs it self for the most part.

canopyboy I have not see your recipiant post for awhile so hold on to that bow. Just in case we have to shift you over.

there are some very nice bows going out and recieved.

I am tracking 8 bows recieved that is just under 24% complete. there are 7 in the mail. At least one waiting to go out.

So there is 25 folks waiting on bows so there is a 15% chance one is for you.

Next weekend I will try to get a list of who has gotten a bow who has shipped and who still needs a bow. Because I always miss somthing even on years where I am on here almost daily so God only knows what I missed this year.

Oh and the swaps start around late DEC to Jan Most years. I seen that question asked also.

PM me if you have any question or post here I do check in on my phone but my spread sheet is at work so I may get back to you a bit later then I like but it is what it is.

I'm not dead, but I'm not recovering well from the stroke.  $850 later I'm being fitted with regenerative bracing including a KAFO with artificial ligaments so I can run/walk again.  Been tied up with that and home health so I haven't shipped.  I should ship the first of the week if nothing happens.

Finally got gome after an 8 hour car ride with three little ones -- oh my gosh! -- and got to open my swap bow!  Its a very nice osage self bow from Sacred mt (Tsosie Taylor).  I'm taking her for a test drive tomorrow after church.  Can't wait to shoot her!  Thanks so much Tsosie!

I enjoyed making and shooting the osage bow; must have shot like hundreds of arrows with it. I tried shooting three under but end up one shooting with split fingers...   :archer2:

My bow is marked delivered as of Friday, but I haven't heard anything yet. It makes me nervous when the post office says it was left on the porch.

I'm hoping that my recipient is just away for the weekend. I hope someone took it in off the porch.

I'm still out of town if the one on the porch is at my house. I'm sure someone brought it inside if so.

So I checked with my wife. She had not previously volunteered the information, but apparently I have two bow tubes that showed up while I've been away. I know what one is, now I have a good guess what the other is!

When my bow got picked up the driver had a note to say I should expect a long parcel in a couple of days.....Excited now!
The only thing is I have to pay import duty of just over £100 because it has a stated value of $600. Damn governments always have a way of getting their pound of flesh...
