Update on the oak board pyramid;
Long story short; she broke! :(
But, no bow is without it's lessons and for this one I'll say that my attempt to glue the riser block down to the limb was a failure.
You may recall that I discovered that the riser block was not adequately glued to the limb. Photos are earlier in this thread. I attempted to patch it with super glue and an overlay of automotive fiberglass and epoxy. here is what it looked like after that repair.
No problems during tillering nor in shooting in at a short draw. Several days ago I let about ten arrows go at full draw with no problems. Today I put it on the scale and it drew 36# at 28".
Decided to run it over the chrono with a 525 grain arrow. The first shot went across at 139.6 fps. On the second shot it broke!

might be repairable, but I'm not going to risk it since the bow was going to go to a grandson. Time to start hunting for a new board.
