I've been playing with the oak pyramid a bit. Had a few days of decent weather, but now we're back to the deep freeze.
Was bending and examining the glue joint at the riser and discovered this!
Squeezed some super glue into the opening but decided it may not be enough. Since I was paper backing the bow with grocery bag, thought maybe four layers of bag on the joint might solve the problem so on they went with TBIII.
The grocery bag backing.
A crisis of faith had me peel the bag off the fade with the intent of applying some automitive fiberglass mat, so off it came.
and on went the fiberglass.
It's too dang cold to do any more right now. For some reason the wife does not want me sanding in the house!
Any thoughts on how this is going to hold together?
