Well Ben, I enjoy the selfbow thing too. That bow is a sweet shooter, going to make someone's teenage granddaughter happy I hope.

Mike, that's just temporary lacing. I think it's the stuff you buy to go with a stitch-awl. I have a big roll of it. When I put them back on after dying and finishing, I use a  dark brown, waxed, linen thread. Looks like this:

Making a bow for my 13 year old grandson. Osage backed with boo.

And a bobcat caught right across the road from my place. It was released because they are not legal to trap here in SW Pa.

Releasing a Bobcat caught in a leghold trap, sounds like fun.

Cool cat.

My brother had to release a fisher he caught at Moraine State Park in Butler county recently because they're not in season on this side of the road. He wasn't happy to be detained.

I found myself being stalked by one while turkey hunting in Ohio last spring.

He must have seen me move through a tiny opening in the blind. You should have seen him go over the fence.
Have the docs figured out what's wrong with your shoulder?

Every time you show a new build it sorta carries me away!

One day I'll build one of those TRL thingies.  Right now I am being pestered to do two ASLs for family friends and two of my choice for grandkids.  They all expect their wood to be encased in glass.

Couple days ago a bird somehow got into the shop.

Trying to work on a hickory stick tonight, and now this guy won't let me be.

Not the first time he brought a bird in the shop, I have a doggy door, and he likes to bring in birds and eat them. This one got away, but once in a while I come in and find feathers all over

I did my yearly total shop cleansing. Only 140 gallons of chips, dust, curls and shavings. Slow year I guess. But the shop is squeaky clean and feels 50 square feet bigger. Today I'm taking my air filtration unit down and blowing it out backwards with my air compressor, hope it starts running better. I've abused that poor unit.
