« on: April 17, 2015, 09:08:00 AM »
Good Morning Bowyer Land..
I'm getting ready to put those Quiver bushings on the side of my riser. Do you need to drill and tap a hole for these little guys?and then do you epoxy them in? any help would be appreciated.I think these are the 10/24 style from Binghams..Thanks Guys! I'll wait to hear back from you all...Pat

If they have male threads that screw into the riser, then yes drill and tap it and apply epoxy to the threads would be my guess.. I have never tapped wood but I believe there are special wood taps. But a regular metal tap might suffice for only a couple holes.

The brass bushings (made by Martin)I install from 3 Rivers don't require tapping the hole. Follow the easy instructions and you will be good. I did put a dab of epoxy on them before installing but the instructions says it is not necessary.
